The Privacy Policies explain how J. Ian Gems collects, uses, and shares information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual or household (“Personal Information”) and what the individual’s rights are with respect to that Information. The Privacy Policies apply to all customers who visit our physical in-person pop-up events and craft shows, shop through or visit our website, www.jiangems.com.

Verifying a Request to Disclose or Delete

In order to protect your information from unauthorized disclosure or deletion, we will not disclose any information unless we believe that the person making the request is you or your authorized agent. To verify the identity of the requestor, we will ask for your name, address, and email address. We will also ask you for an additional piece of information to match information we already know about you, such as the last 4 digits of your credit card number, the last item you purchased, or a shipping address you have used in the past. We may send an email or text message with an authentication code to a device you have used previously to communicate with us. If you have a password-protected account with us, we can verify your identity by using your account authentication credentials.

If you have authorized someone else (an "authorized agent") to request information on your behalf, you must give the agent your written and signed permission. We may request that you identify yourself directly and confirm that you have authorized the agent to submit the request on your behalf.

Credit Card Security

Is it safe to use my credit card?

J. Ian Gems understands your concerns regarding Internet security. The secure software encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. The Internet is as secure as using your credit card in a store or over the phone. Please contact your credit card issuer for additional information. We do not share your credit card information with anyone other than the banks and processors required to process your transaction.

Gift Cards

Your purchase and use of our gift card(s) constitutes acceptance of these terms:

The value of gift cards never expires. It will be delivered via e-mail.  

• Gift cards are redeemable by the bearer for merchandise or services at J. Ian Gems.com. Gift cards may not be returned or redeemed for cash. Please treat gift cards like cash; they are not replaceable if lost, stolen or if used without authorization. 

• It is redeemable for merchandise only at J. Ian Gems.com.

• Only one (1) gift card can be used and applied at checkout on each purchase or total transactional invoice.

• Gift cards are not reloadable.

• Sales and coupons are not applicable to the purchase of a gift card.
