  • Are shell pearls real pearls?
    Shell pearls are made from the inside shell of the mollusk. They are not the same as real pearls. Shell pearls are a very good likeness and more affordable, especially if it is to be worn one time for a special occasion.
  • Do you issue refunds or credits?
    We do not issue refunds, credits or accept returns. All sales are final. We do want you to be thrilled with your order. Please contact us at info@jiangems.com within 10 days of your order if there is an issue. We want to keep you happy, and we want repeat customers.   • Do you accept credit cards?
    Yes, we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and ApplePay. We do not accept PayPal.
  • Do you have Gift Cards?
    Yes, we do have Gift cards and send them via email to your recipient. Gift cards are final sale. They are not redeemable for cash and are only able to be used for J. Ian Gems products. We are not able to cancel gift cards. All sales, discounts and coupons are not able to be applied to purchase the gift cards.
  • Do you have gift boxes?
    We do not use gift boxes, but we do send all our bracelets in a decorative organza bag.
  • Is your jewelry hand-made?
    Yes, all bracelets and jewelry are made by hand. We do not sell premade jewelry.
  • Can I use the photos on your website?
    No, we are sorry but the pictures on the website are the property of J. Ian Gems, Inc. They are not to be saved or reused without the express written permission of J. Ian Gems.
  • I put items in my cart but now they are out of stock. What happened?
    J. Ian Gems are not mass produced and they are in high demand. Similar to other website of hand-made goods the first to check out receives the merchandise. Please let us know at info@jiangems.com if there was a bracelet you really wanted but it is no longer in stock. If we have the beads and findings in stock, we will make one for you.
  • Can I request a custom order?
    Yes, we love doing custom orders. Please contact us at info@jiangems.com for a quote. All custom orders must be paid for in full. We will let you know the lead time on making them for you before you pay for your order.
  • Can I get your bracelets wet?
    We do not recommend getting the bracelets wet. Especially the ones with gemstones ending in "ite". Gemstones such as Selenite, Kyanite, Hematite, fayalite, cristobalite, toblerite, iolite can dissolve and weaken in water. This is a small sample of the gems ending in "ite". Please do not shower, bathe, swim or get them wet in general.
  • Do you accept returns or exchanges?
    We are sorry but we cannot accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final. These are personal bracelets worn on your body. We also give donations to local charities and cannot afford to issue refunds. We do want you to be happy with your purchase so, let us know if you are having an issue within the first 10 days of the purchase by writing to us at info@jiangems.com.   • How do I measure my wrist for a bracelet?
    Using a tape measure to measure your wrist, if you like it tight then give us a measurement that adds a 1/2 inch. These start out tight but must make it over your hand. If you like it looser select the bracelet size of the measurement in inches from your tape measure the way you want to wear it. These are stretch bracelets and start out tight but if you wear them every day, they will stretch a bit.
  • Do you offer free shipping?
    We do offer free First-Class shipping to the domestic U.S. for all orders over $99.00 US dollars before tax that ship to one address. We cannot ship to a P.O. Box. We need a verified street address. If you order more than $99.00 USD before tax in one order, we will upgrade your order to a FREE Small Priority Flat Box that will arrive in 2-4 days.   • How should I care for my bracelets?
    We recommend removing them when showering, bathing, or swimming. To clean your bracelets, use a soft polishing cloth. I keep mine in a selenite bowl overnight.
  • Do you take custom orders?
    Yes, we do take custom orders and will give you a quote. Please fill out the custom order form on the Wedding page. Custom orders do require payment in full at the time the order is placed. We will invoice you for the full amount plus applicable tax and shipping.
  • Can I wear these on my ankles?
    These bracelets are intended to be worn on your wrist. If you try to place them on your ankle they will break. Please don't even try.
  • Can I cancel my order(s)?
    We are sorry but we do not accept cancellations of orders or gift cards. Please review your orders before placing them because there are no refunds. All sales are final.
